The media plays a huge roll in global financial markets with 24/7 TV stations, countless radio shows, gigabits of online content and acres of dead tree print all getting in on the act and trying to bring the most critical information to their audience as quickly and as accurately as possible.
Global markets produce an overwhelming amount of information every day and media tries to help investors and traders keep on top of what’s happening and what’s important. The reality of course is that not only is the media the ring master in a sense, but they also drive the debate and decide what gets to the front of the news flow.
In short is their influence good or bad?
